  • Competitive Pay: The salary for this position ranges from $52.22 to $77.59 per hour, depending on experience, plus $7/hour night shift differential.

Your Role & Responsibilities

As an RN - ICU Stepdown, you will be at the heart of our patient care team. Your responsibilities include:

  • Patient-Centered Care: Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care needs.
  • Team Collaboration: Direct and delegate care to other team members and contribute to a collaborative, interdisciplinary approach.
  • Professional Growth: Ensure your own professional effectiveness through continuous education and development.
  • Quality & Safety: Help maintain established hospital policies, procedures, and safety programs.

Qualifications

  • Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing is required. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
  • Experience: One year of RN experience in a progressive care or stepdown unit within the last three years is preferred. Experience with critical care nursing is a plus. One year of RN experience is required. Some postings may be for the Nurse Residency and the following criteria will apply to those postings: If the candidate is a new graduate, the RN will also be required to participate in the Nurse Residency Program.
  • Credentials: You must be a Registered Nurse in Washington State and have a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is required within six months, and National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification is required within 120 days.
  • Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and computer skills are essential.
