Are you passionate about patient care and helping others? We have an exciting opportunity open for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position at Smokey Point Behavioral Hospital. This role offers the chance to work collaboratively with our health team members and under the direction of registered nurses. As a licensed practical nurse, you will provide nursing care in accordance with the nursing process and our standards of care and practices. Join us in our mission to provide exceptional psychiatric care to our patients.

Document patient information and changes in patient condition
Alert the RN of changes needing reassessment
Administer medication to patients
Utilize appropriate interventions in psychiatric and medical emergencies
Orient patients to treatment programs and monitor activity, encouraging participation
Use facility-approved CPI techniques

Your Experience Matters What we’re looking for:

Education & Licensure: Graduate from an accredited LPN program with an active license to practice in Washington.
Experience: A minimum of three years experience in a psychiatric healthcare facility is preferred.
Additional Skill Requirements: Must pass a medication administration exam before administering medications. CPR certification and successful completion of crisis intervention training, including restraint and seclusion policies, within (10) days of employment and before assisting in restraining procedures.

Compensation:

Full-time and part-time positions available and the expected compensation range is $32.00 - $39.00 hourly. We’re eager to engage with all qualified candidates, and consideration will be provided to experience and skill level. Join us as our LIcensed Practical Nurse (LPN)!

Schedule: 12-hour shifts, rotating weekends
